I designed a set of dreamy, pastel Instagram highlight covers for Aileen Xu of Lavendaire, a Youtuber with over 1 million subscribers. These icons are featured on the @shoplavendaire Instagram account, which features her journals and workbooks.

Step 1: Brainstorm

Aileen asked for dreamy, minimal icons. I put together some sketches that would fit her aesthetic.

Step 2: Sketch

I sketched out all the icons in the style we chose.

Step 3: Color

I colored the icons in a dreamy watercolor style to fit Lavendaire’s branding! You can see them in action on @shopalavendaire.
