Inktober 2019
This year was my first time participating in Inktober, a global inking challenge that was started by Jake Parker several years ago. Since then, it has evolved into an all-encompassing art event and is interpreted differently by each artist who participates.
A guideline I set for myself was using a different color for each day of the month—I didn’t want to get tired of looking at the same colors every day for a month, so I thought, “Why not use ALL the colors?”
I also drew from different prompt lists, not just the official list released by Jake Parker. I felt that the lists I chose better suited my drawing interests.
